The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Kuriakose Elias College, was established on 02/06/1997 and has become an integral part of the institution’s system with appropriate structure and process. Over the years, the IQAC is conceived as a mechanism to build and ensure a quality culture in the college. It has developed a system, evolved mechanisms and procedures for planning, guiding and monitoring quality assurance and quality enhancement activities of the college. The objectives of the IQAC as envisaged by NAAC are envisaged through conscious, consistent and catalytic improvement in the performance of the college. It also channelizes and systematizes the efforts and measures towards academic excellence,
The IQAC of the College coordinates all quality-related activities by developing an organized methodology of documentation and internal communication. It works to enhance and integrate the various activities of the College and to ensure the adoption and dissemination of good practices. The IQAC spearheads the conduct of many activities, which promotes quality, accountability and transparency. It is a facilitative and participative organ of the institution and is a driving force for ushering in quality by working out intervention strategies
