KE Reach out is the Live Lab of MSW Department and is registered under Travancore-Cochin Literacy, Scientific & Charitable Societies Registration Act of 1955 (Reg. No.KTM/TC/418/2012). KEDAS has adopted a village, Kaipuzha, and is organizing community intervention programmes in the adopted community for their development.

AWAKE-State level cultural fest for differently abled Children is a backbone event in the life of Social Work family. The word AWAKE literally means to wake someone up or to make someone remember something. It has organized both as a cultural fest exclusively for the mentally retarded students of the central districts of Kerala, and a national seminar for social work trainees. The fest comprised of exhibition cum sale of crafts made by differently abled children and various arts competitions including band display, other single and group competitions.
