Department of Statistics and Computer Applications, K E College, Mannanam , organized  a One day NATIONAL SEMINAR entitled ‘CYBER FORENSICS AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS IN CYBER SPACE’ on 29^th August 2019 jointly with IQAC and Cyber Cell Kottayam . This topic is very relevant especially among computer professionals. Aim of this seminar is to act as a catalyst to raise awareness regarding computer forensic which continues to grow as one of the most important branch of science and help in investigation of cyber crime which continues to grow as one of the most potent threats to the Internet and computer users of the cyber society.

We organized an international Webinar on “What after COVID 19…? Future of your career after COVID 19: An introduction to Cloud Computing” in collaboration with IQAC on16 th September 2020 via google meet. Mr. Jerin P George, IT Analyst, Ministry of Consumer Goods, Toronto, Canada was the resource person. 130 academicians from various institutions participated. 

We organized a Workshop on Research Methodology in collaboration with IQAC on 28^th February 2020. Teachers and students from the departments of Commerce, Statistics and Computer applications were participated in this workshop. The certificates were distributed by our Principal Dr. Antony Thomas and IQAC Co-Ordinator Dr. Mathews T. Thelly. In the last Session we conducted a test based on the workshop topic.   Mr. Tijo Mathews, our own faculty member was the resource person.
