Activities

Subject updating programmes are necessary to increase the knowledge of the students as well as teachers. A subject updating seminar was conducted on 11^th December 2018.  Principal, HOD, all teachers and students were present to attend the seminar. In 2019 also a subject updating seminar was conducted on 23rd September 2019. 

മലയാള ഭാഷ ശ്രേഷ്ഠ ഭാഷ എന്ന ലക്ഷ്യത്തെ മുന്‍ നിർത്തി വാണിജ്യ വിഭാഗം (സ്വാശ്രയം) സംഘടിപ്പിച്ച നിരൂപണ കേളി-19 (13-2-19) മാന്നാനം കെ.ഇ.    കോളേജില്‍ നടന്നു. വാണിജ്യ വിഭാഗം മേധാവി ഡോ. വി. എസ് ജോസിന്റെ അധ്യക്ഷതയില്‍ കവിയും സാഹിത്യകാരനുമായ ഡോ. രാജു വള്ളിക്കുന്നം കേളി ഉദ്‌ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു . കഥകൾ, കവിതകൾ തുടങ്ങി വിവിധ മലയാള സാഹിത്യ രൂപങ്ങളെ 10 ഓളം കുട്ടികളും അധ്യാപകരും ചേര്‍ന്നു അസിസ്റ്റന്റ് പ്രൊഫ ബിമല്‍ കുമാര്‍ (വാണിജ്യ വിഭാഗം) ന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തില്‍ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചു. കോളേജ് പ്രിന്‍സിപ്പല്‍ ഡോ. ആന്റണി തോമസ്, വൈസ് പ്രിന്‍സിപ്പല്‍ ഫാ. ജോബി, വിവിധ വകുപ്പുകളുടെ മേധാവികള്‍ മറ്റു അധ്യാപകര്‍, വിദ്യാര്‍ത്ഥികള്‍ തുടങ്ങിയവർ പരിപാടിയില്‍ പങ്കെടുത്തു.

As part of our social responsibility, students and teachers of our department visited ABHAYA (special school) Neendoor on 15/03/2019. It was really a poignant experience for all the students to visit the old age home and interact with its inmates. This visit was a huge learning experience for the young students and after spending two valuable hours, the students vowed to do something for them and contribute towards the betterment of their condition. An amount of Rs 5000 raised from among students and teachers was given to the flood relief camps. 

In order to  bring out  and improve our student’s skills and talents a special programme titled ”CARPE DIEM” was conducted on March 7^th 2020 by the Commerce Association. All the students as well as teachers participated in various cultural events and exhibited their talents. They had participated in singing, dancing, skits and so on. The programme was a real success.
