Research and postgraduate department of Economics conducted one day Regional Seminar on “Intellectual Property Rights: Opportunities and Challenges” on 03rd March 2020. Dr. Ajish Joy P, Deputy News Editor of Week was the chief guest for the inaugural session. He spoke about the north- south divide and IPR. 11 students of M.A. Economics programme presented papers on various aspects of IPR. Third session was handled by Dr. Mathew Kurian, Professor, K.N. Raj study center, Mahatma Gandhi University. He spoke about WTO and TRIPS. 160 participants including students and teachers of various departments of K.E College attended the seminar.
Research and postgraduate department of Economics conducted one day Regional Webinar on “Research Methodology” on 10 March 2021. Mr. Jasimudeen S, Librarian, St. Stephen’s College, Uzhavoor served as resource person of technical session-I. He spoke about the E-Resources and the framework for identification of research gap. Technical session-II was led by Dr.Manju Varghese, Assistant Professor, Government College, Chittur. She spoke about the Research process and steps in Social Science Research. 90 participants including students and teachers of various departments of K.E College and of different colleges participated in the seminar.
An all Kerala Inter Collegiate fest, Terrabithia 2K20 was conducted on 12th February 2020.100 students from 18 colleges participated in the fest. A quality combo of 3 events – quiz, treasure hunt and spot photography was coordinated for the fest.
